blogging etiquette part 2

Last Saturday I posted several questions about blogging etiquette. First let me say thank you to everyone who responded to my questions and concerns. You guys are great!! Your responses were supportive and helpful and instructive. In short, everything a girl could want from her blogger friends!

I have taken much of the advice to heart, especially concerning selective commenting. I already feel less stressed about my reading list!

Thanks to Julie at Julie's Musings I now have a new widget at the bottom of each post! You can now click "funny", "interesting", "inspiring", or "informative" to let me know if you like my post. I hope these little buttons will get some clicks by folks who read but don't have anything to comment. My fingers are crossed for some good feedback!

I love this quote. And I need the reminder daily!

  1. I've had those little buttons forever and I don't think one person has ever clicked any! Good luck, though! Maybe you'll have better luck with them!

  2. Yes, I had those for a while too and I was the only one who ever clicked them (pathetic, I know). I just clicked yours though!

  3. Yea! This is exactly what I was talking about. Makes a nice quick click visit possible when time for comments are limited :)

  4. I see you've had some clicks. I hope you get more. I also didn't get a lot of action on those buttons, but then, my blog isn't yet all that well known either. The print is kind of small and maybe kind of gets lost. Maybe the thing to do is to actually draw your readers' attention to them like you did in this post. Otherwise, they may not see them.

Oh yes, thanks for the link back to my blog.

  5. Thanks for sharing the idea about the click buttons. I have been working to get more interaction with readers on my site ... will be interested to see how you do w/ these buttons. I'm thinking about trying them.
