Voice of Truth

Below is a link to a video of a song I just love, "The Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns. It has been running a loop in my head. The chorus says,

"the voice of truth tells me a different story, the voice of truth says do not be afraid.

The voice of truth says this is for my glory.

And I will choose to listen and believe the voice of truth."

 I will choose to listen and believe......that is a theme with me.

How often do I make the conscious choice to listen to the world? Doctors, friends, family, the news, random people I don't even know. And all of this hides in my heart and creates anxiety and worry. But really, what do they know? Education and intellect will only carry us so far. Faith will carry us the distance. Faith and only faith will give us the strength to face whatever the world can throw at us. For today, at this moment, I will choose to listen to my Father and believe his promises. I hope you will too. :)
