Okay, now that I have been doing this blogging thing for a few months I have learned a thing or 2. Well, the "or 2" part may be stretching it a bit. So we will just talk about the 1 thing I have learned.
I don't need two blogs. That's it. When I started this I was having so much fun playing around with the concept I got a little carried away. That's where my "Thursday Thankfulness" blog was born. But now I see the error of my ways. But I love the notion, so Thursday thankfulness isn't being abandoned, just moved. So, every Thursday I will be sharing my thankfulness with you RIGHT HERE. I know you are excited (& if you aren't, fake it. I'm fragile).
And what am I thankful for today, you ask?? Journaling. I have always loved the concept of keeping a record of my thoughts, but frankly I suck at actually keeping a journal. I manage for a day or 2, and then it ends up on a shelf. I was inspired recently to give it another try after I read a blog post by Karen Walrond (click here to read her post in Bliss Your Heart). Karen makes the point that journaling doesn't have to be lofty or deep. It just has to be a reflection of me and my life. Schedules, notes, to-do-lists, anything that moves me. So, I am trying again.
So far, I am really enjoying it, we will have to see if that continues or if it ends up back on the shelf. I'll keep you posted!
