I am trying something new for 2013! I was inspired by Karen Walrond over at
chookooloonks.com to send out cards to at least 100 people in 2013. Karen is sending out postcards, but I have a literal ton of greeting cards left to me buy my grandmother that I am itching to put to good use, so I am going to use those (No, this is not because I'm cheap...at least not
just because) I'm willing to mail 2 cards each week of 2013 to a total of 104 different people, each one with a favorite photograph I took as well as a favorite quote (exactly what Karen is doing, I am a hopeless copy cat).
I love cards, and I love receiving mail that isn't bills. I'm hoping you do too!
All I need from you is your address. If you are interested in receiving a card, just click the link below and fill out the form. I promise not to share your information.

If anyone else wants to join the fun, feel free to copy me/Karen. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?!?! ;-)
Happy Friday Everyone! Go out there and make it great!

Now, there's a thought! |
What a great idea!!! Good for you for "borrowing" the idea AND for being thrifty in carrying out your plan to be a blessing to others!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carrie! Now, if I can just get some folks to sign up! LOL! :0
DeleteThis is a great idea.. I love getting snail mail :). Thanks for stopping by my blog too. Hope you have a happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you! My form is starting to fill up, so I am doing a happy dance! Be glad you can't see it! ;)
DeleteThis is a great idea! My mother's resolution for 2012 was to send out birthday cards for all our relatives! I bought her a set of cards for Christmas last year and 2013 is here and she did it! I'm so proud of her; and snail mail is definitely the best mail. (:
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up!
That's a great resolution. I am really terrible about sending cards personally. Now, I send them for my church (Birthday card ministry) and it gets a great response. People like being remembered. But in my personal life I am lazy. I rely too much on Facebook and the telephone. Maybe this little project of mine will help me! I hope so! ;)
DeleteAs a card maker, there is nothing I love more than sending and receiving cards. I have a few pen pals that I just adore, and it is such a fun way to feel connected to something positive. Handwriting and snail mail is something I would hate to see go by the wayside with so much digital stuff..
ReplyDeleteWinnie, I am going to have to get with you about making some cards for me this year. I have a few people in mind that would love a handmade card!
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by and for signing up! :)
